The chancellors of the Iranian and French universities held a meeting in Paris on 19-21 June 2018.
The two-day visit was made at the invitation of French Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Frederique Vidal. The Iranian delegation comprising 18 university chancellors and heads of research centers met the chancellors of 35 French major universities and discussed terms of mutual scientific cooperation. Faculty and student exchange programs, joint research projects and joint educational courses were among the topics of discussion by the university chancellors and heads of research centers.
Dr. Mohammad Hossein Somi, Chancellor of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences (TUOMS) was among the visiting people.
