A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between Kafkas University and Tabriz University of Medical Sciences (TUOMS) on May 2022. The memorandum was signed by chancellor of TUOMS Dr. Naghipour and president of Kafkas University, Dr. Kapu during the Turkish University delegation visit of TUoMS.
This scientific MOU focuses on collaboration between two universities on the following areas:

- Exchange of scholars and researchers
- Developing student exchange programs
- Promotion of joint research projects
- Organizing joint academic conferences, seminars, symposiums, congresses, workshops, study tours and summer schools
The MOU is valid for 5 years and will be extended if collaboration yields positive outcome.
