Dr. Bailarov, the vice-chancellor for education and research of Azerbaijan Medical University, visited gastrointestinal, immunology and EBM research centers and while learning about the activities and facilities of the centers, discussed about academic collaborations. During a meeting that Dr. Bailarov attended with the presence of the vice-chancellor for research and technology, director of research, and the head of planning and assessment team of research and technology deputy, he presented a report about the facilities and priorities of Azerbaijan Medical University for developing academic collaborations with Tabriz University of Medical Sciences and expressed interest for expanding the relations. Furthermore, Dr. Samiei emphasized on developing academic collaborations particularly in the field of research projects, joint theses and holding training courses with Baku University.
