Tabriz University, one of the oldest and biggest
centers of education was founded in 1947. According
to the parliament low statute, which was ratified in
year 1985, University of Medical Sciences got
separated from its mother Tabriz University and
started its own educational research and remedial
activities independently. Ever since similar to
other medical universities in other parts of the
country, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences
(TUMS) also merged with local provincial health and
treatment organizations and since then, this
university has been actively involved not only in
academics but also in research, health and treatment
tasks. It offers a wide range of opportunities and
excellent facilities for studies. |
